Vedauwoo (ve-da-voo) is located in the Medicine Bow National Forest in the southeast corner of Wyoming between Cheyenne and Laramie. The area is full of granite rock outcroppings, pine forest and aspens interspersed with huge open meadows. Local Indians called the area "Land of the earthborn spirit". The Vedauwoo area was held sacred by these Indians. The area averages 8000 feet in altitude and has become known as rock climbing heaven. READ MORE....
