 | Devils Tower ...is located in the Black Hills of northeast Wyoming. It is leftover from volcanic activity, molten rock being forced in between other rock formations. It rises 1,267 feet above the plains and can be seen from many miles away. Devils Tower was the first declared US National Monument in 1906 by President Theodore Roosevelt.
